We are seeking brave creatives and performers of all identities, cultures and backgrounds in Nashville to join this project to remix our stories and shared histories towards a more connected and healed future of equality.

 AUDITION/WORKSHOP DETAILS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE AND TIME COMMITMENT?
Please plan to be present for the entire 3-hour time block.

• 1:30-3:15pm | Part 1: Workshop
  Come as you are in comfortable clothes. Participation in the Workshop is the audition. See a sample Progress Theatre Workshop here.
• 3:15-3:30pm | BREAK
  
• 3:30-4:30pm | Part 2: Meal, Story Circle and Discussion
  During this time, we’ll share more about the project and several options for ways to participate.

DO I NEED TO PREPARE A MONOLOGUE, SONG, POEM OR DANCE FOR THE AUDITION?
No, simply come as you are in comfortable clothes. We will teach some songs and activities for the group to be creative together, so be prepared to jump right in! Participating in the workshop is the audition.

CAN I AUDITION IF I AM NOT NECESSARILY A PERFORMER?  OR IF I HAVEN’T BEEN IN A SHOW BEFORE?
Yes, please come! There are opportunities to participate no matter what level of performance experience you have. All creatives are welcome: performers, writers, poets, singers, dancers, storytellers, visual artists, multi-disciplinary, etc.
